BECOMING A PARISHIONER

Blessed Sacrament welcomes new parishioners!  Please join us as we live out our mission:

We are a faith community of believers called to celebrate the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist and joyfully proclaim the word of God. We journey in God's love.

For those moving into the area or transferring from another parish in town, we ask that you register with the parish by:

U    filling out a registration form after any of the Masses the first weekend of the month.  One of the Greeters at Mass will be available in the Reconciliation Room in the back of church with registration cards and information about Blessed Sacrament.

U    Or, stopping by or calling the Parish Office during the week (8 a.m.-4 p.m.)

A member of our Welcoming Committee will be in touch to follow up on your initial registration and answer any further questions you may have.

For those who are not Catholic and have an interest in becoming part of our faith community:

Our Catholic faith tradition provides a formation process, called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults , to prepare people to become Catholic.  Whether you have never been baptized or were baptized in another faith tradition, there is a place in the process for you to prepare for initiation into the Catholic Christian community.  We provide formation in Scripture, worship, prayer, and community through weekly sessions and involvement in the life of the parish.  If you are a family with children, preparation is available for them as well.  Call (222-2759) or e-mail (agage1948@yahoo.com ) Ann Gage to learn more about the process.
